"RECITE" "SCROLLS"

Usage: recite <scroll> [target]

This is used to "read" a scroll.  Target can be an object, character
or nothing (which becomes automatically yourself).

You can also 'recite' inscriptions or runes on special objects,
which are not necessarily scrolls.

Reciting other players, NPCs, or objects in the room may fail depending
on your intelligence. Higher intelligence equals fewer failures. Reciting
on items carried or worn, or on self will not fail.
